  A talk show host and a reporter for a Bloomington/Normal radio station say they are being treated unfairly by city leaders, including the mayor.
  Cities 92 Host Ian Bayne says "The city of Bloomington has declared war on media that does not agree with them."

WCIA-TV Anchor Dies of Brain Cancer

  About a month after he officially left the anchor desk, WCIA-TV's Dave Benton died Tuesday, May 26, at his home with family alongside.
  Benton's battle with a brain tumor gained national attention last year, when he went on the air and told his Champaign-area viewers the prognosis doctors had given him.

Peoria Morning Show Changes

   Two of the three Peoria morning shows are in the market for new producers.  May 15 marked the last overnight shift for Greg Smith, who has been producing WEEK’s News 25 Today, and working those hours, for nearly seven years.  The U of I graduate is leaving the business, taking a position with MassMutual Insurance in Peoria.  He has attended several INBA conventions over the years.
