Peoria Station Announces New Anchor

WEEK-TV in Peoria has chosen a Colorado broadcaster to replace longtime anchor Tom McIntyre.  Tyler Lopez will anchor the 6pm and 10pm newscasts on the NBC affiliate beginning in August.
  Lopez has been fill-in anchor and reporter for KMGH-TV in Denver for 10 years, and was at Denver station KDVR and KOAA in Colorado Springs before that.  

Lester Holt Gets NBC Anchor Job Officially

Lester Holt will be named the permanent anchor of "NBC Nightly News." Holt moved to the NBC network in 2000 after several years as an anchor at WBBM-TV in Chicago.  He became the full-time anchor of "Weekend Nightly News" in 2007.

Fuller Takes New Job at SIU

INBA Past President Jennifer Fuller has accepted the position of WSIU's Associate Director for News and Public Affairs.  In this role, she'll be coordinating the move to a more converged newsroom, combining radio, TV, and web efforts.

New York Press Club Elects Former INBA President

  WCBS-AM radio's Steve Scott has been elected president of the New York Press Club.  Scott has been afternoon drive anchor at the O & O since 2006, and has won several awards.  During his time in New York, he has been active with the Press Club, most recently serving as 1st Vice President.
