INBA Board Member Moves Home

It's a homecoming for former INBA Board Member Jacob Long, who has accepted a new job at KSDK-TV in St. Louis.  Long grew up in nearby Granite City, and still has his mom and other relatives in the area.  For the past two and a half years, he's been an MMJ at FirstCoast News in Jacksonville, Florida, which is another Gannett-owned station.  He has covered a number of high profile cases, including the trial and retrial of Michael Dunn, accused of fatally shooting a black teenager, and the separation of conjoined twins.

Radio Broadcaster's Spouse Dies Suddenly

Lisa Leach, wife of Springfield-area broadcaster Jim Leach, died unexpectedly July 12, at age 50. She was Human Resources Director at Springfield Pepsi-Cola, and proud mother to Lindsey (husband DJ Rudd) and Dylan.  She was also a dedicated volunteer at the Springfield Muni Opera, not as an actor, but handling concessions and other behind-the-scenes duties.
