Covering News Around St. Louis

   Many journalists are working to cover the constantly evolving developments in Ferguson, Missouri and all over St. Louis County.  A Ferguson police officer fatally shot 18-year-old Michael Brown on August 9, and that has sparked looting and riots, but also protests, debates, discussions, benefit concerts, art shows and more.

   St. Louis television stations are offering expanded coverage as well. has a live banner crawl with public safety information, such as road and business closures.   Wednesday night, KMOV-TV hosted a “Community Conversation” inviting its audience to talk about the situation and the various responses.
